KET
The University of Cambridge ESOL’s Key English Test (KET) is the first upper primary / lower secondary ‘true’ English Language examination. The KET provides an excellent starting point for those students who are looking to build a professional language portfolio throughout their primary and secondary education. Cantab Education offers small dedicated classes taught by Native English Teachers (NETs). The KET examination is recommended for Hong Kong students who have achieved a score of 11 out of 15 or more in their Flyers examination or students who are at a comparable level.
PET
The Preliminary English Test (PET) by the University of Cambridge provides the developing early secondary school student with a great opportunity to further expand their professional portfolio.
Spread across three papers; reading & writing, listening and speaking, the PET offers students an early experience of examination that they may sit for university entry or professional qualifications in upper secondary school. Cantab’s classes are always small and delivered by Native English Teachers (NETs) with the focus on ensuring students are able to achieve the highest possible pass mark.
