Phonics Fun

You will never find students in our Phonics Fun classes sitting around on chairs copying the teacher as they shout "buh, buh, buh & kuh kuh kuh." Our classes are tactile, interactive, noisy, fast, exciting, funny and definitely very very interesting!

Class 1 

Starting out with our incredible Phonics Fun workbooks, students will have loads of opportunities to practice fine motor/ writing skills before getting in amongst all of our puzzles and games as they try to find out which sound goes with which word and which word goes with which picture. Even if students have no understanding of the alphabet, they are more than welcome in this class and they will soon start to pick up the basics and start to understand more and more as the weeks go by.

Class 2

Year 2 Phonics Fun will always have lots of reviews of what we have done previously so don't worry if you haven't been to one of our classes before, you will have plenty of opportunity to catch up. We will be investigating a whole lot more this year with the completion of our hard consonant sounds, finishing off the short vowels before we start looking at word families and even a few digraphs.

As always, each class is supported by our beautiful Phonics Fun workbooks, puzzles, games and activities and there is always enough left in the book for Mum and Dad to learn a few things too! This is a VERY interactive class which is sure to teach all that students are going to need as they head into primary school.
