English Foundations Playgroup

Cantab Education’s English Foundations classes for 3-6 year olds provide the very finest pre-primary education in Hong Kong. Structured to ensure that your child is fully prepared for the big language steps that are to be found in early language education, our classes are always fun, very kinesthetic and provide the very best language support available.

Classes of course include lots of fun and games, songs, plays and storytelling but at all times ensure that our students:

• Have a deep understanding of phonemic usage, structure and form.
• Are introduced to sight words in context and that language is recycled throughout the year.
• Are able to pronounce and enunciate language clearly in a correct emotional context.
• Improve both gross and small motor skills especially the use of pencils and the improvement of stylus usage.
• Develop socially and emotionally in class, learning how to play and work together with others to create a beneficial school and life environment.
• Grow in confidence, feel good about both themselves and their use of the English Language. We firmly believe that as students learn to trust their own skills and abilities and the fear of learning disappears, the whole learning process becomes a lot more fun and abilities will start to soar.

All classes are designed, structured and tutored by Native English Teachers (NET’s) with a wide range of experience in dealing with Kindergarten children in both Asia and beyond.
